The Great Britain Minigolf Sport Men’s Team will be representing Queen and County at the World Minigolf Sport Championships, to be held at Canegrate, near Milan, Italy, from August 22-25. The team flies out next Thursday, August 16.
Five top British Minigolf Association (BMGA) players comprise the team, which will train for five days before the competition under the guidance of Italian Head Coach Paolo Porta and female Austrian Deputy Coach Carina Albrechtsberger-König. They will be challenging 21 other nations for individual and team prizes.

The British Minigolf Association (BMGA) is the official body for all types of miniature golf in the UK. It runs competitions around the country from April to November. The next major UK competition will be the British Open, which will be held at Strokes Adventure Golf Course in Margate, Kent, on September 15-16. Top-ranking players from all over the world will be playing alongside the best of the British miniaturegolfers.
