To mark the official launch of Impulse Leisure’s brand new group exercise studio at Southwick Leisure Centre, the club will be hosting an 80s themed Aerobathon on Sunday 5 October between 10am and 3pm.

All proceeds from the event, which is being held in association with Lucozade Sport, will be donated to the Startlight Children’s Foundation, who help brighten the lives of seriously and terminally ill children.

Classes on the day are 45 minutes to one hour duration and include a low impact aerobic warm-up mixed with spicy salsa ingredients; circuit training with a big boxing emphasis; legs, bums & tums and a yoga based stretch and cool down class. The highlight of the day will be a hi/lo Latino Fiesta Master Class with renowned international presenter and fitness educator, Delvin ‘Charisma’ Clarke!

Delvin said: “I’m really excited to be involved with this event. It’s for a great cause and promises to be lots of fun! Our aim is to have 100 participants per class supporting the Starlight Children’s Foundation. I just need to dig out my headband and leg warmers!”

For a small registration fee and a minimum sponsorship of £10, participants can attend one or all five classes at the event at Southwick Leisure Lentre, Old Barn Way. Southwick. Registration is now open at both Impulse Leisure – Southwick (01273) 238111 or Impulse Leisure – Lancing Manor (01903) 524624.
