British international archer Lucy O'Sullivan has won the gold medal in the women's compound tournament, at the Commonwealth Games Test Event in Delhi. Nichola Simpson took the bronze.

Lucy, representing Jersey, beat Scotland's Tracey McGowan in the semi-finals, and then completed a fantastic day by silencing supporters from host nation India, when defeating Gagandeep Kaur in the final.

This is another big win for the Nottingham based student, who last year won the women's compound title in the inaugural Archery GB National Series competition.

Nichola won her second medal of the week - she was a member of the gold medal winning women's compound team 24 hours earlier - when she claimed third place in the individual event.

She was beaten by Kaur in the semi-finals, but then defeated Tracey in third-place shoot-off.
