Britain is in with a chance of three medals at the first FITA World Cup tournament of the year, after the men's recurve team made it through to the bronze medal shoot off.

Simon Terry, Larry Godfrey and World Cup first timer Mark Nesbitt will take on China for third place on Saturday, after victories over Germany and Mexico, and then defeat to top seeds India in the semi-finals.

The women's recurve trio of Charlotte Burgess, Naomi Folkard and Amy Oliver, lost out to Mexico in the first round of their event, and both the compound teams also failed to make it to the last four.

Duncan Busby, Chris White and Liam Grimwood lost to Germany in the first round, while Nichola Simpson, Nicky Hunt and Rikki Bingham made it to the quarter-finals before going out to the Netherlands.

But Nicky Hunt will definitely be returning home with a medal, after reaching the final of the women's compound tournament, where she will face Canada's Ashley Wallace.

As well as being part of the men's recurve team, Simon Terry will also be chasing an individual medal when he takes on Jean-Charles Valladont of France in the bronze medal match.
