Simon Terry has won Britain's second medal at the first World Cup of the year, taking the bronze in the men's recurve tournament in Porec.
Simon, the Grand Final silver medalist last year, thrashed Frenchman Jean Charles Valladont by 6 sets to nil, to secure third place behind gold medalist Brady Ellison of the USA. Another American, Vic Wunderle, took the silver.
It means Britain took two medals, with Nicky Hunt finishing runner-up in the women's compound. China pipped GB to the bronze medal in the men's recurve team event.
"All in all, an encouraging start to the World Cup season," said Performance Manager Barry Eley. "It's great to win two medals, and Nicky and Simon both deserved that reward for their efforts this week."
The next World Cup event takes place in Antalya, Turkey, from the 7th to the 11th of June.
This year's Grand Final will be hosted by Edinburgh in September.
