Windsor U16s tour Ireland

Windsor U16s (Berks League U15s Champions 2009/10) have just returned from an exciting tour to Ireland where they took part in many activities including, an aerial assault course, go-kart racing, paintballing, 10-pin bowling and of course, rugby. 21 lads and 18 dads undertook the trip after months of fundraising from both within and without the club. Many thanks to everyone who supported this event with particular thanks to Windsor M&S, all age groups within the club and all visiting participants. Windsor played two matches against Cill Dara RFC and Coolmine, winning both 34-22 and 35-0 respectively. Both clubs were terrific opponents on the field and excellent hosts in their clubhouses after, joining in the singing and ‘normal’ tour games. Windsor stayed in the excellent Castle Knock hotel, enjoying four star luxury with a gym, swimming and sauna etc. The photo below shows the touring lads in their formidable tour shirts which will be a terrific reminder for all in the future.
